Tom and Caroline’s beautiful wedding reminded me of one of my favorite exchanges between actors in one of my favorite movies of all time, Broadcast News:
Tom (William Hurt’s character) : What do you do when your real life exceeds your dreams?
Aaron ( Albert Brooks) : Keep it to yourself.
It’s hard to keep Tom and Caroline’s dream wedding to myself. From the Bowl of Beauty Peonies spilling out of barrels, vases and any vessel not nailed down to the incredible clear tent by Chase Canopy that let the woods peak through the glorious reception, it was reality turning into a dream.
It all began with the perfect engagement shoot in NYC:

Followed by a rehearsal dinner to die for at the Herreshoff Museum in Bristol, Ri
and culminated in a wedding to end all weddings in Little Compton, RI!
Tom and Caroline’s Day started with the groomsmen Cliff Divingat 8 AM!
Meanwhile, the bride had a calmer morning!
a little excitement ensued as the brother of the bride appeared to borrow a needle and thread!
loved all the “Tom & Caroline” signs everywhere!
and the “rustic elegance” of natural wood with gorgeous details:
When the bride finally got dressed we were all stunned into silence by her beauty.
Mom and Dad were overwhelmed at how beautiful their daughter was:
Meanwhile the groom had dried off (!) and was getting ready for the first sight:
the brothers of the bride!

This is why it’s so great to have a wonderful second photographer like our own Leah Latham who gets another fabulous angle!

This was a repeat for the Bride’s Mom of an old family photo in their barn. So sweet!
