Katie and Sanjeet’s wedding at the Taj was over the top wonderful. It was such an honor to spend the day with two such kind and adorable people on one of the most special days of their lives! Katie and Sanjeet met in Dental School, which is not hard to believe when you see their beautiful and warm smiles. Their love, patience and kindness towards each other and everyone there was genuine and lovely to behold. Couple that with a rainy day and you can see how these two just bring sunshine with them, no matter what!
Katie looked even more beautiful than she did on her engagement portrait, which was hard since she looked amazing on that day too. See here! Katie and Sanjeet’s engagement session: Â https://corinnaraznikov.com/katie-sanjeet-e-session-boston-ma/
Shruti from http://gokalove.com/did her hair AND makeup, working all her magic to bring out Katie’s natural beauty. I just fell in love with Shruti Bawa that day. Totally on time, calm and very talented!
Next, I photographed Katie’s beautiful Robin Jillian gown and her (surprise) Indian outfit she would be changing into at the end of the reception as a surprise for her new parents-in-law. So thoughtful. The gorgeous flowers arrived from one of my favorite Boston florists,www.mimosastyle.com. They  always do a twist on the traditional and they did not disappoint this time either. The bride’s bouquet was classic white with a beautiful broach pinned on the stem. The bridesmaids bouquets were a mix of soft muted purples and whites tied with lovely lavender colored satin ribbon. Bridesmaid’s first wore their matching lavender robes that were a gift from the bride and then changed into lavender colored strapless dresses from Dessy. Classic.
The ceremony itself happened at St. Cecilia’s Church in Boston. I’ve photographed probably twenty weddings there at this point, but every time I encounter it, I’m stunned by how beautiful it is. Also, I’m always moved by Reverend John Unni who has presided at most of the ceremonies I’ve photographed at St. Cecilia’s Church. He is one of the warmest and most engaging priests I have ever seen and while I watched him preside over Katie and Sanjeet’s beautiful ceremony, I thought about my own marriage vows as I’m sure all the other married couples in the church did.
The Reception on the rooftop of the Taj Boston was just a perfect backdrop to all the festivities. Seeing the beautiful Boston skyline out of the floor to ceiling glass windows was such a treat. Katie and Sanjeet’s lavender color them continued through to the lovely light purple flowers in the center of each table.
The toasts were amazing and the energy on the dance floor infectious. When Katie and Sanjeet appeared in their Indian clothing near the end of the reception, the crowd just went wild!
Thanks to Katie and Sanjeet and both of their amazing families and friends for making us feel so welcome!
Everyone loves Father John! 🙂
I also got to finally work with the sensational Timothy Bakland! Not only is his work gorgeous, but he and his wife are unobtrusive, kind, and great to work with! I couldn’t recommend him more.
