I do a lot of multigenerational family portraits where there are grandparents, all their kids (now grownups), and the grandkids. We always do the big family first and then let the kids run around for some “natural” portraits afterwards. I especially liked what I got with the grandparents here. They garden with their grandchildren and we got this interesting picture of the flowers in focus in the foreground and all the grandchildren with their grandparentents sort of semi-out of focus in the background which symbolized the activities they do together.
then there was this cute series of them all picking daisies together:
it helps when you have the cutest grandparents in the world though…
we also had a great time playing in the ferns.
