I was very honored to shoot Sayles Livingston’s ad in Bliss Celebrations magazine this year! Sayles makes these dresses from a mix of real flowers and fabric flowers. It’s spectacular. We had 5 flowergirls cavorting in a field with miniature ponies one beautiful summer day. It’s things like this that make me feel very blessed to do my job. Of course my daughter made an appearance again too! This will be her fourth time as a “pretend flowergirl” in a magazine! What a funny little childhood she is having. Who can spot her?
How to describe this amazing photoshoot that Anne Marie Eddy put on at A. D. Makepeace last Summer?
It was over the the top and fun and wild and rainy and ….well, a fantasy. Anne Marie Eddy from Big Sky Tents designed this over the top flowergirl extravaganza. She enlisted my help along with some truly great vendors. Most notably, Sayles Livingston brought her always lush perfect flowers to the story, as did the fabulous Meredith from Artisan Bake Shop. Meredith’s cakes and treats stole the show! The tents provided by Sperry were, of course, the perfect setting for this dreamy shoot. I love the elegance of a Sperry tent with it’s peaks and valleys. A. D. Makepeace is also such an incredible venue for weddings in our area and people hardly know it’s available. It not only has a beautiful lakeview, forestview, and bogview, but it has fabulous old barns everywhere. Who doesn’t love a barn?
Thanks to the talents of All the vendors, this shoot was the perfect princess daydream:: ballerina-styled flower girls, sweet round tents, English garden-style floral designs, a wine barrel bar, wicker lounge furniture, crystal chandeliers, vintage table décor, festive lighting, artistic pastries, blended into a pink-and-gold themed delight.
Special thanks to Jeff and Amanda at Jeff Brouillet films for documenting the hilarity of the day! Please click on this video to see my daughter stealing the show!
Some of the photographs made it into the feature at Bliss Magazine, but I had to post more pics from this amazing shoot.
This is so my Josephine who is a REAL character!
the elegant tu tu girls morph into puffballs!

Emily and Ben’s engagement session part 2 continues after their Valentines Day post: http://corinnaraznikov.com/happy-valentines-day-e-session-boston-ma/
The shoot got unbearably poetic as night fell and the couple wandered through the Commons. A light snow came down as we meandered our way to their wedding location: The Boston Public Library. I can’t wait for this one!
I shot this just last weekend and have been so excited to post the perfect Valentine’s Day Engagement Session! When Emily showed up wearing a red sweater with Hunter Boots and a tulle skirt, I knew it I was going to be in heaven with this shoot. The Boston Commons was a winter wonderland and they hit just the right tone. Part 2 will have to wait, but it’s a stunner with twinkly lights as they walked through the Commons, snow falling from above as the couple kisses under a streetlight, and finally at their wedding location this summer at the Boston Public Library. Thanks to this gorgeous couple for the gift of this beautiful session.
I love the natural linen albums that Leather Craftsmen have been producing for me. They look so beautiful with the silver imprinting too. Here is a 12″ square for the bride and a 10″ square for the parents. Simple and elegant.
